Congratulations to the winners of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners (PSATC) and Pennsylvania League of Cities and Municipalities (PLMC)- 27th Annual Road and Bridge Safety Improvement Awards! The PSATC winners are York Township’s T201 Bridge Reconstruction Project and Hatfield Township’s East Walnut Street Traffic Calming Project. The City of Philadelphia’s Pedestrian Improvements on Roosevelt Boulevard won the PLMC Awards.
All three projects are good examples of local-led efforts that improved safety for all modes and applied the 10 Smart Transportation themes. We congratulate the municipalities for their win!
